We tend to view camping as a chance to unplug and relax, so when it comes to our outdoor living space, we like things a bit more cozy and luxurious. That's why our favorite camping chair is definitely the Mac Sports Cozy Club Chair.
If you've seen any of our campsite set ups, you've likely seen this gorgeous comfy set of chairs. We have others that we love for other reasons, but when it comes to feeling relaxed and chill, these chairs are the best.
Features of the Cozy Club Chair that We LOVE
The look alone evokes a kind of luxury indoor-outdoor feel that makes nearly all of our photos that much better. So the photographic aesthetics of the chair is a definite plus.
Beyond the look, the chair actually feels super comfortable and even cradles you as you lounge in it. My favorite time of year is when it gets crisp and a little chilly outside, and these chairs keep me toasty and warm when we are enjoying the cooler temps.
Another feature that we absolutely love is the cup holder on the side. It is a mesh pouch that is unobtrusive and barely visible when not in use.
I would call it more of a bottle or can holder because of it's size, but that's totally fine with us. What I genuinely like about this beverage holder is that it is useful when you want it, but blends in when you are not using it.
The Downsides to the Chair
Of course there has to be a few things we would say are not our favorite aspects about this chair. But in reality there is really only 1 that comes to mind.
The Cozy Club Chair is a bit bulky and takes up a lot of room in our storage bin. The compromise here is that a smaller lighter chair wouldn't give us the luxury, cozy feel that this chair offers. So I guess it's a give and take kind of situation.
That's why we have other chairs that are easier to store, move around and use when we want to visit friends in other campsites. Or when we want to sit around the campfire that is 30 feet away. We certainly aren't going to lug around a bulky chair.
These chairs are really just built to be set up and to stay put until you are ready to break camp.
Accessories We Might Consider Buying
The only possible way that these chairs could be any more comfortable is if we had a foot rest/ottoman to go along with it. So we are considering adding this to our set up.
We already have a side table that I love, so we don't need something like that. But a place to prop our feet up would be the icing on the cake.
