A Little Bit About Us
We are Tony and Elizabeth. Married and living in the great state of Texas! We love to explore, relax, and make camping fun.
When we are not hiking a trail or fishing a river, we can usually be found relaxing at camp playing a game of chess.
We enjoy making our campsite feel like home! Cozy and Luxurious with a hint of campfire smoke.
Favorite Places
Our favorite places to camp tend to be in the Hill Country region of Texas.
Furry Friends
We currently take our 12 year old Blue Heeler named Indiana with us when we camp.
RV Trailer
The rig we travel in is a 2022 Rockwood Forest River Mini Lite 2205S.
Future Plans
We hope to visit every single state park in Texas in the next several years.

Our Setup & Favorite Gear
Camp Chairs
The chairs we use for our outdoor living space at camp are the Cozy Club Chairs by MacSports. They are the most comfortable, plush chairs I've ever sat in. They even have a built in cup holder pouch on the side.
These are our main outdoor living room chairs, but we also have a pair of Kelty foldable camp chairs for use around the campfire.
Propane Fire Pit
It's not uncommon for some campgrounds to have fire bans during the dry season. So we decided to get a propane fire pit in order to make sure we could always have a “campfire.”
The one we chose is by Outland Living and it came with a cover and carry kit. Just hook it up to propane and presto… campfire!
Lighting & Ambiance
When the sun falls behind the trees and darkness begins to creep into the camp, we like to have a few lighting options. Our RV has an LED awning strip, but that can sometimes be too harsh.
We prefer a mellow, softer lighting option. So we mostly use outdoor string lights and string them from our RV awning out to a pole and then back to the RV in a W or V pattern. But we also have a retro railroad lantern that I absolutely love.
Camp Coffee
There is nothing like watching the sunrise with a hot cup of coffee. At camp, we usually boil water and use our french press to make coffee.
I also want to start using a pour over style coffee maker since I've heard they are incredibly easy to clean. And I hope to have a camping espresso maker to add to our coffee collection.
